Nothing is more frustrating than a brand new kitchen cabinet drawer falling apart — and that’s where Carlson’s Handyman Service shines. When a pesky drawer with an oak front and subpar pressed board sides and bottom gave in, we stepped in to handle the Drawer Repair.
Given the original drawer’s limitations, it served better as a template than a storage solution. We replaced it with a sturdy construction of 1/2 inch plywood, glued and nailed together to match the original dimensions perfectly.
No more suffering with superficial storage — even heavy items can now be safely placed in this revamped, resilient drawer.
