Recently at Carlson’s Handyman Service, I tackled a three-part project involving home siding and stairway repair. The work included replacing several rows of siding that had rotted over time due to moisture seeping into the cut ends from the nearby roof shingles. I installed the new siding an inch off the shingles and primed the edges for added protection.
